These gold Aviator style glasses look good. However, the optics are awful. It appears that the curvature of the plastic lens has something to do with this. I don't have to wear prescription glasses when I drive or read. However, I like to use sunglasses when the sun interferes with my vision. These sunglasses distort the images that I'm looking at to the extent that I get an eye headache. My eyes try to adjust to the distortion and as a result, my own vision changes. Upon taking these awful glasses off, my eyes have to readjust. I no longer wear them. I'd normally would have returned them but I've had them for a few weeks as I have tried to see if my eyes would get use to them. They didn't. Now they're in their case and in the closet.

  1. I just got these. They look good on me. The gold looking frame is classy. They are comfortable. They cover my eyes just enough without looking too big if you know what I mean. They add a little pop to the outside colors when I have them on. The greens are a bit greener looking and so on. I would say they add a bit of an orange/yellow accent color to everything but not as pronounced as those orange lens sunglasses from 10-15 years ago. They don't have an orange look against my face while I am wearing them, but maintain the brownish look of the lens as seen in the photos. I am happy with my purchase and at the 67% discount that I got them at. I will look at Kenneth Cole sunglasses again in the future.

Edit - I am still wearing these glasses two years later. I do like them and they are holding up fine. I would like to point out that these are not the darkest of sunglasses. When the sun is shining brightly with bright blue skies I prefer sunglasses that cut the light out a bit more. These are still OK either way, but I tend to wear them more on cloudy days (or at lower light in the morning/evenings) when I stiil need some protection while driving but don't want the visibility out of my vehicle windows to get too dark overall. I keep this pair and a darker pair of glasses in my vehicle for this reason.
